seminar: Brownian scaling and universality for directed polymers
speaker: Giambattista Giacomin (Université Paris 7)abstract: I consider linear polymer chains interacting with the environment via homogeneous and inhomogeneous potentials. I will review what is known about the scaling limits, obtained either as the coupling parameter vanishes or approaching criticality, and I will present some recent results in this direction.
