Remarks on an evolution equation of a nonconvex functional
speaker: Giovanni Bellettini (Università di Siena)abstract: We discuss some properties of formal gradient flows of nonconvex functionals of the gradient, in dimension one. Basic examples are the Perona-Malik equation and the evolution equation obtained from the duoble well potential functional.
