abstract:
We present a new approach to investigate random walks in random environments in dimension 3 and larger. This is based on a detailed analysis of the exit distributions. We also present results on the existence of invariant measures for random walks in random environments. This is based on adaptation of a method originally found to prove diffusivity of directed polymers. The course is based on joint works with Alain-Sol Sznitman and Ofer Zeitouni.
