Hyperkaehler quotients of solvable Lie groups

abstract: The talk is based on a joint work with L. Barberis and I. Dotti. We apply the hyperkaehler (HK) quotient construction to Lie groups with a left-invariant HK structure under the action of a closed abelian subgroup by left multiplication. We find new complete HK metrics on Euclidean spaces and their local expressions.
