This event is intended to develop mathematical cooperation between mathematicians of Indian and Italian origin. Among the many possible topics, we have chosen 'Diophantine and Analytic Number Theory', both because of our personal involvement and because there are several experts in these fields of the said origins. We expect that this shall be a perfect occasion to promote new collaboration among the participants.
