The aim of the workshop is to foster cross-fertilisation among economists, mathematicians and logicians who share a common interest in modelling phenomena which are relevant to the social sciences. The main goal of the workshop is therefore to raise mutual awareness, both in terms of research questions and in terms of research methods, among groups which too seldom have an opportunity to interact.

To this end, the workshop features three kinds of talks: Keynotes, Tutorials and Work in Progress presentations. These latter are meant as an opportunity to discuss informally ideas which current or recent students find particularly interesting so as to create a forum of interdisciplinary discussion.
