The Centro di Ricerca Matematica "Ennio De Giorgi" invites applications for 5 two-year post-doc research positions named "Junior Visiting Positions (2023-2025)" covering the following subject matters:
The six positions are funded by the Centro De Giorgi, by UniCredit Bank as part of the research project "Dynamics and Information Theory Research Institute" under the agreement in force between the Scuola Normale Superiore and UniCredit S.p.a. and partially supported by the "Fondazione Emma e Giovanni Sansone".
Successful candidates will be new or recent PhD's in mathematics with an exceptional research potential. PhD students can also apply, provided that they obtain their PhD no later than 1st October 2023.
Candidates must apply for a specific and single position among the 5 specified above. In hisher on-line application each candidate may also indicate a maximum of three experts in the field of research, to whom the Scuola Normale will ask to send a letter of reference.

The total two-year gross remuneration, inclusive of all taxes, is € 66.840 for each contract, corresponding to a monthly salary of approximately 2,000 Euros. An additional yearly research allowance of 1,000 Euros for exchange visits also provided. Junior Visitors are expected to start their research activity no later than October 2023.
