The Centro di Ricerca Matematica "Ennio De Giorgi" invites applications for 5 two-year post-doc research positions named "Junior Visiting Positions (2025-2027)" covering the following subject matters:
The five positions are funded by the Scuola Normale Superiore, within Centro di Ricerca Matematica Ennio De Giorgi and with the contribution of the Emma and Giovanni Sansone Foundation, the International Balzan Foundation and Unicredit Bank.
Successful candidates will be new or recent PhD's in mathematics with an exceptional research potential. PhD students can also apply, provided that they obtain their PhD no later than October 1st 2025.
Candidates must apply for a specific and single position among the 5 specified above. In hisher on-line application each candidate may also indicate a maximum of three experts in the field of research, to whom the Scuola Normale will ask to send a letter of reference.

The total two-year gross remuneration, inclusive of all taxes, is € 66.840 for each contract, corresponding to a monthly salary of approximately 2,000 Euros. An additional yearly research allowance of 1,500 Euros for exchange visits is also provided. Depending on budget availability, extra funding might be assigned.
Junior Visitors are expected to start their research activity no later than October 1st 2025.
