Spectrum of Laplacian on Noncompact Shrinking Solitons
speaker: Detang Zhou (Universidade Federal Fluminense)abstract: We will discuss some problems about spectrum of the Laplacian on non-compact Riemannian manifolds. We show that the essential spectrum of gradient shrinking Ricci soliton is similar to that of noncompact manifold with nonnegative Ricci curvature in many ways. This is a joint work with Z. Lu.
