Uniform Convergence to Equilibrium for Fokker-Planck equations
speaker: Francois Bolley (University of Paris Dauphine)abstract: Estimates on the long time behaviour of solutions to Fokker-Planck and granular media equations can be obtained by the gradient flow and entropy dissipation approach. Here we present a method based on the dissipation of the Wasserstein distance along the evolution, which gives new results in non uniformly or non convex cases. This is a joint work with I. Gentil and A. Guillin.
