course: Dynamical moduli spaces and elliptic curves
speaker: Laura De Marco (Harvard University)abstract: I will introduce the moduli space of rational functions on $\mathbb{P}1$, of a given degree $d > 1$, as a space of dynamical systems. I will discuss dynamical questions (such as structure of the bifurcation locus, features of degenerating families) and connections with arithmetic geometry.
