Bases with two expansions
speaker: Vilmos Komornik (Universities of Shenzhen and Strasbourg)abstract: We report on a joint work with D. Kong on answering several questions of N. Sidorov on the set B2 of bases in which there exist numbers with exactly two expansions on the alphabet {0,1}. In particular, we prove that B2 is closed, and it contains both infinitely many isolated and accumulation points in (1, q'), where q'=1.787... is the Komornik-Loreti constant.
