abstract: According to Frobenius Theorem, a non-involutive distribution of k-dimensional planes in Rn cannot be tangent to any smooth k-dimensional surface. In this talk I will recall some of Balogh's counterexamples in the case of C(1,α) surfaces and I will discuss how mild assumptions on the bonduary of the tagency set can make us recover Frobenius Theorem. These results are part of an ongoing research that involves G. Alberti (Università di Pisa) and A. Massaccesi (Università di Verona).
