seminar: Stochastic networks: from mathematical models to practical network protocols
speaker: Erol Gelenbe (Imperial College London)abstract: We will summarise how the description and solution of some stochastic networks which may be interpreted as queueing systems or as neural networks, has given rise to new routing algorithms for packet networks. The mathematical models, their solution, and the resulting experimental network will be described.
