Multiscale analysis and reconstruction of chromatin and nuclear organization

22 October 2018 - 26 October 2018

This event is part of an intensive research period:
Advanced asymptotics of PDEs, modeling and extreme statistics and their applications to data analysis in cell biology.

The aim of this workshop is to present the latest computational methods used to reconstruct and interpret the chromatin organization in the nucleus, based on single particle trajectories, chromosomal capture data, polymer models and their analysis. Theme of the workshops include description of data, DNA modeling, looping, motion of polymer, single locus analysis, nuclear organization, DNA breaks, chromosomal folding and interaction and homology search.

New polymer model should be discussed and the effect of noise localization on data analysis of SPTs.

Single Hi-C data will be presented and methods to reconstruct the three dimensional organization of the chromatin.

Research Directions

During the meeting, one hour teaching class per day will introduce the topic to students (analysis of SPTPolymer loopingReconstruction of chromatin from RLCpolymer model).
