The aim of this workshop is to present the state of the art in the mathematical analysis of transport and mixing phenomena in fluids and associated problems. Some of the most exciting recent progress on fundamental questions in the analysis of fluid flows has been obtained by combining traditional approaches to PDEs with techniques originating from other contexts, such as calculus of variations, geometric measure theory, harmonic analysis, and probability. The workshop will focus on the interplay among these techniques and offer a timely perspective on topical research topics in this field, with a particular focus on the research themes developed within the ERC project FLIRT ("Fluid Flows and Irregular Transport").

The workshop will take place in online mode. Online participation requires registration as well.
